Kirkpatrick Pushes Jobs Projects at GCC Forum
Gosar Won’t Show Up to Defend His “Send ‘Em Overseas” Jobs Plan
GLOBE, AZ – Ann Kirkpatrick this evening participated in a forum hosted by Gila Community College in Globe as part of her commitment to letting the folks of District One know where she stands on the issues that matter. Her opponent, Paul Gosar, had been invited to debate Ann but once again skipped out on an opportunity to answer tough questions and defend his job-killing “Send ‘Em Overseas” Jobs Plan.
At the forum, Ann emphasized her work to bring good-paying jobs to District One through projects such as the Copper Basin Jobs Project [

"Creating jobs is my top priority in this economic downturn. These projects will get folks back to work at low cost to the taxpayer, and strengthen some of the district’s most important industries," said Ann Kirkpatrick.
"I am determined to move them forward and to make sure we can keep good jobs right here in Arizona." Kirkpatrick took questions directly from audience members on her commitment to her congressional pay cut plan, her opposition to amnesty for illegal immigrants and her work to shut down drug, cash, gun and human trafficking. Gosar has offered as an excuse for not debating that he didn’t want a structured debate where the audience could not participate.
The voters of District One are asking why Paul Gosar is dodging debates and appearing only in front of friendly crowds. If Paul’s got the answers, why won’t he share them? Could it be that Paul’s answers – like his plans to slash Social Security and Veterans’ benefits and protect tax loopholes for companies that ship Arizona jobs overseas – serve his Wall Street special interest backers, not the folks of District One?
