Kirkpatrick’s Congressional Campaign Bolstered By Arizona’s Law Enforcement

Prescott, AZ – Former prosecutor and state representative Ann Kirkpatrick, candidate to represent Arizona's 1st Congressional District, has received tremendous support from Arizona's law enforcement community in her bid for Congress.  Her campaign has received endorsements from a majority of the district's county sheriffs, some of the state's largest law enforcement organizations, and other law enforcement officials throughout the district.

As a former prosecutor, Kirkpatrick has a long history of standing up for Arizona's law enforcement community.  As Coconino County's first female Deputy County Attorney, she put violent criminals behind bars and took on the drug dealers wreaking havoc in our communities. In the state legislature, she sponsored legislation to keep the ingredients for meth out of the hands of drug dealers and voted to crack down on drunk drivers and child molesters.

"As a former prosecutor, I am honored to receive such strong support from Arizona's law enforcement community," said Kirkpatrick. "Washington has not kept its promises to Arizona's first responders.  It is unacceptable for Congress to continue to send billions in taxpayer giveaways to companies that ship American jobs overseas while cutting the budgets of those working to keep our communities safe."

"I am running for Congress because we need to make Arizona's law enforcement the top priority they deserve to be," concluded Kirkpatrick.
